About the Centre for Global Action

The Centre for Global Action is a public focused cooperation between Not-for-profit organisations based in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand.
The Centre looks to inform, inspire and enable people of all backgrounds to contribute to a more just world, a world where all people enjoy their basic human rights: where everyone is free from fear and want; and able to fulfil their potential as human beings.
The Centre seeks to achieve this by bringing together like-minded individuals and organisations in an easily-accessible location in the James Smith Arcade on the corner of Manners and Cuba Streets.

The Centre offers:

  • Access to information about the world through an onsite library, online services, meetings and workshops.
  • Advice on how to take action to create a better world.
  • Space were groups can come together to discuss and explore global issues.
  • Direct access to all the member organisations.
  • Furnished conference rooms where meetings, seminars and workshops can be held.
  • An inviting atmosphere for all

The Centre seeks to become greater than the sum of its parts, becoming a community gathering point.
